The Middletown Peach Festival is here Saturday, August 19th. And it’s a big one – the 30th annual one!!
The festival starts 8:45 a.m. with a parade on Broad Street and ends at 4 p.m. Most of the activities will be on and around Main Street. Enjoy peach dishes, other food, crafts, live music, games, a peach pie contest, and exhibits.

If you’d like to be in the parade, be sure to submit this application before July 31st.
The Peach Car Show will take place from 12 noon – 3 p.m. Entry fee is $10 ahead of time and $15 the day of the show. There will be top 20 awards. Register your car for the show here.

Thinking about entering the homemade peach pie contest? The pie crust needs to be homemade and pies also need to be made with fresh peaches. Contestants may only submit one pie. The peach pies will be judged on appearance, texture, crust, and of course, taste. Pies and entry forms should be submitted at the MOT Senior Center before 9 a.m. the day of the festival. Don’t forget your name and phone number on the bottom of the pie plate. Good luck!
